Cerebellum D9 Series

D9 Series "Cerebellum" Solution for Embodied Intelligence

The two generations of SemiDrive D9 series chips (D9-Plus and D9-Max) adopt an architecture optimized for the "cerebellum" of humanoid robots. The robot's motion-control system and its communication, interaction and other business systems can be deployed in separate domains on the same chip, keeping motion control independent and stable. With a distinctive architecture, rich computing and interface resources, and high safety and reliability, both generations have entered mass production at leading humanoid robot manufacturers. Solution Features: - Abundant Computing Resources
  • 12-core CPU with dual clusters and hardware isolation: one chip runs two systems — motion control deployed independently, while interaction, perception, HMI and communication run in separate systems without interfering with each other
  • Rich real-time core resources: D9-Max offers 3 pairs of lockstep R5 cores @800MHz with 25ns interrupt response, capable of running real-time tasks / EtherCAT master
  • Built-in dual DSP accelerating IK solving; built-in 8TOPS NPU

- Rich Interface Resources: 12x CAN FD and dual Gigabit TSN Ethernet
- Automotive-Grade Safety and Reliability: Automotive-grade design meeting ASIL B functional safety; Built-in HSM with cybersecurity meeting EVITA Full; Operating temperature range from -40°C to 105°C
